A Little Shift Goes A Long Way

Shift your intention. We see what we project onto any experience. If we want to see differently, we have to project differently. Our past-as-the-truth creates an already-always-listening in which we believe we know exactly how an experience will progress. Be willing to create a different experience of someone by shifting your intention about what is possible with the person. When we bring Love to any situation, we will find the Love in that situation. Be more interested in the Love than in being right. The people may still behave the way they always have; however, someone has to show up differently first to create the opportunity for change. Be willing to give up having to be right about how things always go.

Shift your listening. We hear what we project onto any experience. If we want to hear differently, we have to listen differently. Our past-as-the-truth creates an already-always-listening in which we believe we already know how an experience will play out. Be willing to have someone show up differently by shifting your intention about what is possible with the person. When we project Love onto any situation, we will find the Love in that situation. Be more interested in listening through Love than in being right. People may still say what they have always said; however, someone has to show up willing to hear something differently first to create the opportunity for a different experience. If you have to be right about something, be right about that.

Shift your potential. We create what we project onto any experience. If we want to create a different experience, we have to project the potential for a different possibility. Our past-as-the-truth creates an already-always-listening in which we believe we know how an experience will turn out. Be willing to create a different experience by shifting your intention about what is possible in any given situation. When we project Love onto any situation, standing in the potential to create something different, we make room for something we’ve never allowed ourselves to consider before. Be more interested in creating something new than in perpetuating something old.
